The National Centre for Sustainability Reporting (NCSR) which is the official GRI Standards Certified Training Partner for Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and the Phillipines, along with collaborating partner, SHEMSI, are pleased to announce that we will be delivering a 8 – 10 August 2017.
This three-day intensive workshop will introduce you to the elements of a sustainability report using the GRI’s five step process: “prepare, connect, define, monitor and report” and prepare you to coordinate the sustainability reporting process. You will receive your own copies of essential GRI publications and learn how to apply these five steps when preparing your own report. The GRI Standards Certified Training empowers participants to begin or improve their sustainability reporting using the GRI Standards which was launched on 19 October 2016. The new standards are a transition from the GRI G4 Guidelines, and aim to provide a more flexible and future-proof structure for GRI’s reporting standards.
*Those thinking of attending the course should note that a number of stock exchanges in ASEAN are in the process of either reviewing or changing their reporting requirements to include some form of sustainability reporting. Bursa Malaysia has recently launched its Sustainability Framework, Sustainability Reporting Guide and Toolkits, to encourage public listed companies to take on the sustainability path. Attendance at this course may assist participants to better understand the requirements and its implementation.*
